Yes. Cambodia combines Angkor’s world-famous temples with Phnom Penh city life, Khmer food and culture, Mekong journeys, highland nature, a tropical coast and lively nights. It rewards travellers who stay beyond a short temple stop.
Seven days is enough for Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Ten days lets you add Kampot, Kep or another slower region. Fourteen days gives you room for the coast, islands, Cardamom Mountains or Mondulkiri without rushing.
November to February usually brings the coolest and driest weather. The green season brings vivid countryside, fewer visitors and dramatic skies, while the hottest months require slower days and early starts.
A strong first route combines Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Angkor, then Kampot, Kep or the islands. With more time, add Battambang, Kratie, the Cardamom Mountains or Mondulkiri.
They are separate steps. Visa eligibility depends on nationality, while the Cambodia e-Arrival is a digital arrival submission. Check the official government portals for the rules that apply to your passport and route.
Phnom Penh has the broadest choice of rooftops, live music, bars and clubs. Siem Reap offers social nights around the centre, Kampot has relaxed river venues, and the islands mix beach dinners with informal bars.
